Orleans area.
Job positions: Tennessee - housekeepers. Louisiana - cooks, housekeepers,
fast food & convenience store cashiers.
Number of openings: Tennessee - 49. Louisiana - 30
Duration of employment/contract: October 1, 2008 - May 31, 2008.
Salary/Hourly rate: Tennessee - $7.50 - $8.00. Louisiana - $8.00 - $8.50.
Housing and Transportation: Housing - shared - $300/month - must live in housing while employed.
All utilities with apartment, furniture (bed, table, and chair), no linens
or kitchen utensils provided. Kitchens are typically equipped with cabinets,
refrigerator and stove. If utilities exceed allotted budget, participant
will be charged. Telephone, television, cable and internet access are not
provided. These may be obtained at employee's own expense. Participants must
sign Sub-Lease Housing Agreement. Transportation - Public transportation in most areas, walk, bicycle or if HCMS provides transportation, it will be at the rate of $5.00/day.
Fees / Deposits etc. Housing Deposit: $150.00 refundable, less a $50 cleaning fee. Must pay first months rent ($300) upon arrival.

Additional Information: Avg. hours per week: 32-40 Overtime: Over 40 hours - available but not guaranteed. Pays time and a half. Shifts: There will be varying shifts. Earliest will be "opening" shift at 5 am and latest will be "closing" shift at 1 am. While most employees will stay on some sort of regular schedule, there will be some variations from week to week and we reserve the right to schedule them according to our needs. Schedules will be posted one week in advance (only for fast food positions).
Frequency of pay: First paycheck may take 3 weeks, every two weeks thereafter, distributed on Mondays.
Health Insurance: Health insurance is OPTIONAL. Cost is $50.00 a month. Can be payroll deducted every 2 weeks, $25.00 each paycheck.
